Barbie Is Bourgeois: More evidence that Barbie is NOT woke

Tonight, I watched a 7-minute video all about the set for Barbie’s Dream House from the Barbie movie.

I’m not proud to admit that I spent time doing this, but I felt cornered.

Conservatives have been whining about how “woke” Barbie is for days. And it’s revealing a basic lack of understanding about what the woke left is, what they believe, and what their real goals are.

This is true at the most fundamental level. And I’m about to prove it.

Barbie owns a dream house.

In The Communist Manifesto, Marx and Engels write:

“…the theory of the Communists may be summed up in the single sentence: Abolition of private property.”

Specifically, they target “bourgeois” property:

“But modern bourgeois private property is the final and most complete expression of the system of producing and appropriating products, that is based on class antagonisms, on the exploitation of the many by the few.“

What is “bourgeois” property?

Property owned by a capitalist.

Bourgeois is the opposite of the proletarian, or the worker.

“The immediate aim of the Communists is the same as that of all other proletarian parties: formation of the proletariat into a class, overthrow of the bourgeois supremacy, conquest of political power by the proletariat.”

As I discussed in a previous piece about Barbie being the LEAST woke movie of the year, there are two pillars that must be upheld to prevent the woke cultural revolution from winning:

• Capitalism

• The Gender Binary

If either of those two pillars falls, that’s the ballgame. Their revolution will succeed.

Barbie very obviously upholds the Gender Binary.

• Barbie is a woman.

• Ken is a man.

• No, I do not care that one trans actor played a Barbie because being trans STILL upholds the gender binary. The actor TRANSITIONED from a man to a woman. Therefore, the binary still exists, and that’s all that matters.

  • LGBT people all uphold the gender binary. They believe there are men and women.

  • Queer people do not uphold the gender binary. Their stated goal is to ABOLISH it.

    • People who identify as non-binary are NOT trans, no matter what they say. They are saying they are both to hijack the trans movement. They are not - non-binary, by it’s very nature, does not uphold the gender binary. Everyone who identifies as non-binary should be considered part of the Queer movement, not the trans movement.

But even more importantly, Barbie upholds Capitalism. She owns private property.

Not only does Barbie own private property, but Barbie owns a DREAM HOUSE.

Barbie has a huge master bedroom with a giant closet that has every piece of designer clothes and accessories a girl could want:

Here’s my point: This is not a house of the proletariat or the worker.

This is a house of the private property owner, the business owner, the land owner, and everyone else that the woke left considers to be a member of the bourgeoisie.

Conservatives do not understand the woke left.

The problem with conservatives is that they confuse things they do not like with things that are woke.

They convinced people that anything that empowers women is woke, when in reality that’s not true at all. It’s not woke, it just goes against their conservative values.

• There is nothing woke about a woman being a boss.

• There is nothing woke about a woman being annoyed at men.

• There is nothing woke about women putting their career first, or going to college, or choosing not to have children.

• There is nothing wrong with a woman working outside the home and succeeding in the world based on their individual merit.

None of these things are woke.

They don’t destabilize capitalism or the gender binary. In fact, they uphold them.

They’re also fully grounded in what an individual wants to do with her life.

The entire point of fighting back against the woke left is that they are waging a war on individualism. They want all of us to exist as a part of the collective, in a world where everyone belongs to everyone else, and you will own nothing and you will be happy.

Women are allowed to make individual decisions about their lives and how they want to live them, just as men are. In fact, at the end of the Barbie movie, Barbie encourages Ken to go find himself, as an individual, separately from her. She told Ken to stop being co-dependent.

That is the most unwoke thing a person can do.

And then all of the Barbies decided to be nicer to the Kens. The message of the movie was that we should all be better to each other, as men and women, but outside of the patriarchy and the matriarchy. This is the opposite of woke.

Anyone who tells you that Barbie is woke does not understand what woke means or why it’s so dangerous. It’s essential we understand these things. If you don’t know your enemy, you can’t defeat them.
