Does the woke left believe the U.S. tax system is a manifestation of systemic racism?
What is systemic racism, anyway?

A member of my Locals community asked this question the other day, and I thought it might be something more people would be interested in exploring. It’s also a great way to teach about one of the core beliefs - systemic racism - you’ll hear the woke left parrot over and over again:
According to critical theory/social justice ideology, is the U.S. Tax system and its relevant laws a system of oppression and/or evidence/a manifestation of systemic racism?
The answer is mostly yes, but with one exception.
Generally speaking, the woke left considers every institution that currently exists in our society as existing on the foundation of system racism. Therefore, every system that exists in society supports systemic racism.
To understand why, we need to do a brief overview of what the woke left believes system racism is, and where it comes from.
The woke left believes that racism was invented in 1619 when slaves were brought to America (that’s not historically accurate - slaves were in America in the 1500s in Florida - but this is about what they BELIEVE, not what is factually true).
They believe racism was invented at that time because they believe this is when white people were invented.
Prior to this, they argue, white people did not exist because they referred to themselves as English or Irish or German or Spanish, etc… In other words, there was a transition from men describing themselves based on their country of origin to describing themselves by the generalized term “white." The purpose of doing so (the woke left believes) was to distinguish “white” from “black” in order to keep “white” people in a position of superiority over slaves.
Then, after whiteness was established, those white people proceeded to put policies and laws in place specifically to maintain their position of economic and social superiority. This is what they mean when they say systemic racism - that newly-named white people built SYSTEMS to support RACISM.
But what was a long time ago - what about today?
My definition of Critical Race Theory is as follows:
Critical Race Theory is an ideology that started in academia in about the 70s that teaches racism exists everywhere - in every person, every institution, and every interaction - and the job of the Critical Theorist is to explore how (not if) racism occurs in every circumstance. Racism is always assumed to have occurred.
When I crafted this definition, each element in it was important and designed to articulate the core elements of how CRT manifests in the real world.
The idea that racism exists everywhere - in every person, every institution, and every interaction - is the foundation of system racism.
The woke left argues that society, as it exists today, was built on the foundations of systemic racism that were created in 1619 - when white men created systems that supported the enrichment of other white men, and only white men.
Because every system that exists today was built on that foundation, that means every system that exists today is fundamentally racist and only a revolution and complete dismantling of the systems will fix that.
That’s why Ibram X Kendi argues for present-day discrimination in his book How To Be An Anti-Racist:
“The only remedy to racist discrimination is antiracist discrimination. The only remedy to past discrimination is present discrimination. The only remedy to present discrimination is future discrimination.”
Ibram X Kendi, How To Be An Antiracist
So, about taxes.
Yes, the woke left would consider our tax system racist because our tax system is built on systemically racist institutions that, they would argue, are designed to advantage white people and disadvantage non-white people.
Here are a few news stories that assert as much. You can click on each photo to read the corresponding story.
And the same rule can be applied to almost every part of our society:
Capitalism? Racist.
Schools? Racist.
Transportation? Racist.
Housing? Racist.
The DMV? Racist.
No seriously…white supremacy in the DMV is a real thing:
If you have a question if something is considered racist, just do a quick google search and look at the news stories. You’ll find out very quickly.
There is one exception.
The woke left is not against taxes. They’ll take your money without a second thought! Their position that taxes are white supremacy is not an attack on taxes - it’s an attack on capitalism.
Remember the four goals of the woke left:
Gain as much power as possible
Destabilize the system
Attack Capitalism
Usher in their Marxist utopia
If the woke left were able to achieve their Marxist revolution, not only would they demand you pay taxes (it’s not the money they have a problem with - it’s the system), but they would also take away all of your private property.
The goal is not to solve racism. The goal is only and forever to overthrow our system, burn our way of life to the ground, and create a real socialist world on top of the ashes.
Don’t worry…they’ll get socialism right this time. And it’ll just cost you all your money, your house, your business, and any other private property you may have.
The state will issue you everything you need.
Remember, you will own nothing and you will be happy.

Fight back against the woke and support my work
I believe the woke - on the left and the right - are an existential threat to our values as Americans. Some of them know it, most of them are just useful innocents. Regardless, fighting back against this woke cultural revolution is my full-time job. I’m dedicated to exposing the woke ideology in our country, helping people to understand what’s going on, and providing spaces for non-woke people to connect, support each other, and plan ways to fight back.
Here’s how you can help.
You explain this so well, thank you.
It has been noted that black men statistically die before fully receiving the social security dollars they paid in. So in that regard, yes. Black men are shafted.
