Introducing the Unwoke Zine Project
I’m completely funded by you. Please consider a subscription for $8/month or $80/year. When you do, you’ll get access to my supporter discord and can come and join this project.
If you can’t financially support my work, please consider sharing it with your friends and family to spread the message. I can’t do it without you.
Zines are DYI publications typically made and distributed in small batches. They have a crafty, hand-drawn feel and are designed to promote or teach specific ideas. They’re hand-drawn/written, use collages of images, and are photocopied and distributed in places like coffee shops and bookstores.
Popularized by punk culture in the 70s, 80s, and 90s, zines have since been appropriate by the far left as a tool to teach people their insane ideas. They even teach kids how to make zines as activist projects in schools.
Here’s one example of a zine that was created in the Austin Independent School District to discuss period equity:
We’re taking back zines from the woke and using them to expose the left
Many people talk about changing culture, but you can’t change culture if you’re not creating.
The reason the left adopted zines as a marketing tool for their insane ideas is that they create subcultures.
If they can do it, so can we. Let’s use their tools against them.
We’ve been working on a zine project to create our own unwoke propaganda in my supporter discord for a while (get access here in the supporter perks section, or by accessing the latest version of the weekly Unwoke Roundup newsletter).
The goal is to create materials that you can print out and distribute in local coffee shops, bookstores, music stores, or wherever else makes sense with QR codes that lead people back to articles on this Substack to find out more information.
Here’s some of what we’ve created so far.
Here’s the idea:
For each of the images below, you can download a high-res PDF that you can print at home. The High-Res PDF will be linked below the JPG.
You can print them out as single pages, print front and back with different designs, or compile multiple pages together as a book that you can fold and staple in the middle.
If you have places in your town where people distribute fliers and pamphlets (coffee shops, bookstores, music stores, etc…), then bring some copies there and leave them out. This works particularly well in establishments typically patronized by the left, where the mere presence of materials like this might cause a stir.

Come and create your own.
I’m really excited about this project, and I think we have the potential to do some really cool things with it. I appreciate the community members who are leading it (they know who they are, but requested to remain anonymous).
Join us by joining my supporter discord. We’ll teach you how to do it. Find a link below the paywall:
