The game, Billionaires & Guillotines, raised around $10,000 on their first day.

What happens when socialist revolutionaries make a board game?
You get a not-so-subtle murder fantasy wrapped in cardboard and activist buzzwords.
Kickstarter is hosting a crowdfunding campaign for a new board game called Billionaires and Guillotines—and in just 24 hours, it raised nearly $10,000.
Game creator Max Haiven did mince words in an interview released through socialist book publisher Pluto Press, who is releasing the game:
“We’re trying to visualize the revolution… like what does it look like when we win?”
He goes even further, laying out the game’s central scene:
“You're going to make sure that this guillotine here is at the center of the table… Rebels are going to gather and once all 10 Rebels gather around the guillotine, that's it—it’s game over. All the billionaires lose a lot more than their assets.”
A Board Game of Execution
The game revolves around billionaire “archetypes,” each one a thinly veiled caricature.
Musk is the “Tech Overlord.” They strap him into a space suit with satellite dishes and weapons and have him quip, “Sure, therapy sounds great, but what if I went to space and left you all to die?” They frame him as delusional and narcissistic — a tech bro villain ready for extermination.
Trump appears as the “Property Speculator.” With orange skin, a screaming mouth, and a mirror adorned with construction cranes and palm trees, this version of Trump spouts his signature line: “It’s gonna be huge... tremendous... the biggest ever…” before he is torn apart into black dots of decay. The message: erase him.
Trump’s severed head is held aloft by a statue in a pink pussy hat. Just in case you still aren't sure they're arguing what you think they are, there is a card showing Donald Trump decapitated while the statue mocks him with the phrase, “What, me woke?”
I covered the launch of this game live on April 2, 2025, during my 5pm Eastern stream—the same day the crowdfunding campaign dropped. Here’s the highlight reel:
Here is the complete stream:
Kickstarter’s Hypocrisy
Kickstarter has made a public show of its "community guidelines" over the years, canceling or banning countless campaigns for violating vague rules around "hate speech," "misinformation," or "violence."
But when it comes to cartoon guillotines, decapitated presidents, and revolutionary propaganda aimed at children? That somehow gets the green light.
This is the same platform that has canceled:
A comic book critical of gender ideology
A documentary about vaccine safety
A campaign by a conservative children's book author
Multiple projects that featured Second Amendment themes
Kickstarter’s double standard couldn’t be clearer. If you challenge the leftist narrative, you're banned. If you celebrate the ideological execution of political enemies? You're trending.
Here are PDFs of the game and the rules, which were available for free to download on the developer’s website.

The "disaster speculator" role card sure does look an awful lot like Glenn Beck 😂
It was very interesting.
