I was never so annoyed to be permanently banned on Twitter than when the Libertarian Party of New Hampshire account sent out this absolute beauty of a tweet:
That single tweet led to so many people being triggered it was almost indescribable to watch. Meghan McCain herself was so pissed off that she retweeted it out to her massive audience SIX DIFFERENT TIMES, each time getting angrier and angrier.
This tweet also produced this epic video summarizing the reaction (full credit to Dickie Walnuts). You have to watch it. It totally captures the vibe of the event.
Sh*tposting like this does a great service in our society.
People on both sides of the aisle have gotten soft.
The language police are constantly patrolling our online spaces to penalize the latest person who offends their fragile sensibilities.
We seem to have reached a point in our evolution where people have absolutely no idea how to exist around language they don’t like.
They literally think it’s violence.
I think there’s a clear answer to this:
We must force people to become more comfortable around words and language they do not like.
And the most effective way to do that is to sh*tpost as much as possible.
