Ella Emhoff, Kamala Harris’s stepdaughter, has made waves with her appearances at the Democratic National Convention over the last few nights because of her odd appearance:
People asked if she was trans:
No, she's not.
She's queer.
And don’t get it twisted—queer and trans are not the same thing. The difference matters.
Queer and trans are not the same thing.
Queer isn’t just a label. It’s a far-left political ideology that openly rejects the normal, the legitimate, and the dominant.
It's not about being gay, and it’s not about being trans. Queer people don’t just challenge the system—they seek to tear it down. As queer anarcho-communists like The Mary Nardini Gang would say, queer liberation’s ultimate goal is the annihilation of capitalism. Every step to destabilize societal norms helps them get there.
Here’s the hard truth: being queer isn’t about your sexual orientation or gender identity. You don’t even have to be gay or trans to call yourself queer. The unifying thread among queer people is their far-left politics. You’ll never find a conservative queer person.
Becoming queer is simple. Just say you are.
Queerness is not an identity. It's a belief system. And anyone can adopt it—even the straight, cis-gendered, white guy down the street.
But how can you tell if someone’s queer?
There are physical signs. Let’s break down what made Ella Emhoff’s political leanings crystal clear.
First off, she’s queered her appearance. Queer people often reject the gender binary entirely and aim for a deliberately non-binary look. It’s a direct assault on societal norms, a big middle finger to the patriarchy (aka the so-called gender binary created by capitalism to keep men in power and women raising families).
She doesn’t shave. That's no accident. It’s a deliberate rejection of traditional gender roles.
Then there are her tattoos. Ella has black tattoos scattered across her arms—what I call “socialist tattoos.” Look for mismatched designs that seem thrown together, often poorly done, and typically just black ink. Sometimes you’ll spot a bit of color.
Now, not everyone with these tattoos is queer—but you’ll notice a ton of queer people have them. Keep your eyes peeled, and you’ll see the pattern among leftist activists.
I covered the topic of this tattoo style previously on the Actively Unwoke podcast.
Finally, she’s a leftist activist. Duh.
Ella Emhoff fundraises for a collective—read: socialist group—supporting black trans people. Intersectionality at its finest.
Bottom line: Ella Emhoff is queer. That's why she looks the way she does.
Pay attention to the signals she’s sending out, and you'll start spotting queer people everywhere you go.

I recall she made a splash wearing a very unattractive dress a few years ago.
Lol I definitely look like that I used to call myself queer not knowing it was a communist term as well. I'm bisexual n a bit non conforming in dress at times.
