Ohio just voted to have their parental rights taken away.

This is how the left will abolish the nuclear family.

One of the goals of the woke left is to abolish the nuclear family. We know that, and we know why they’re doing it.

But many are confused about how they will accomplish this.

One of the ways they’ll do it is to adult the idea of parental rights in the public zeitgeist with articles and opinion pieces like this:

The above article was written by a self-professed socialist, by the way.

But that’s not the most insidious way they’ll get rid of parental rights.

Last night, they got people to vote for it.

To understand how, you must understand this:

The socialist left effectively combines issues related to abortion care and issues relating to transgender care.

The first socialist conference I went undercover at was a socialist reproductive justice conference in April 2023.

At this conference - which was supposed to be about protecting abortion rights - they talked more about trans healthcare than they did abortion. I even met psychotherapists serving non-binary 3-year-olds there.

When I went undercover at the Socialism 2023 Conference in September 2023, it was the same thing - every session I went to on abortion talked about trans healthcare as well.

The far-left sees these as issues relating to bodily autonomy.

And so, anytime you see a measure relating to abortion on the ballot, chances are they’ve worded in a way that it will also deal with issues relating to trans healthcare.

Especially trans healthcare for children.

Last night, we saw one of those ballot measures pass.

Issue 1 in Ohio made abortion until birth a right in that state. This is the inevitable backlash to the appeal of Roe V Wade, which haunted the Republicans in the 2022 midterms, and again last night.

However, the passage of this amendment will not only be applied to women seeking to end a pregnancy.

The measure reads the following:

A "yes" vote supported amending the Ohio Constitution to:

-provide a state constitutional right to "make and carry out one’s own reproductive decisions, including but not limited to" decisions about abortion, contraception, fertility treatment, miscarriage care, and continuing pregnancy, and

-allow the state to restrict abortion after fetal viability, except when “necessary to protect the pregnant patient’s life or health.” 

Here’s the line we’re interested in: “Provide a state constitutional right to ‘make and carry out one’s own reproductive decisions, including but not limited to….’

“Including but not limited to” is a tricky bit of language, just like “other duties as assigned” in a job description.

This is not just a measure about abortion.

This is also a measure about trans healthcare.

And because there is no age range stated, this addition to the Ohio State Constitution also applies to children.

That means that the passage of this measure also means that children will be able to access gender transition surgeries without parental consent and parental notification.

The requirements for parental consent and parental notification regarding abortions are removed as well.

So, the good citizens of Ohio, because they don’t know how to speak the language of far-left socialists, literally just voted away their parental rights in regards to trans surgery for their children and probably have no idea about the implications of their actions.

This is how the left will eliminate the nuclear family - they will gradually get the populous to vote away their own rights to their kids.

This is why we learn how to speak socialist. When you learn the language of the far left, you’ll see how it shows up in your real life…and perhaps you’ll avoid voting your rights away.
