One of the ways we can predict what’s coming next in schools is to look at the professional development training events that teachers and administrators go to.
Let’s look at one example: The National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS).
Independent schools mean private schools.
For everyone who thinks that only public schools are susceptible to woke ideology, your bubble is about to burst.
The only safe way to know your kids will not be exposed to a far-left political ideology as a consistent part of their education is to homeschool them because even school choice will not fix the public schools.
Private schools aren’t even hiding their intention is to do DEI. There’s literally a three-hour workshop at their annual conference called Doing DEI (While Trying Not To Make The News):
It kind of seems like they’re trying to do DEI without you knowing about it.
In this article, I will show you what type of content is available to the 2,000+ private schools that are members of the NAIS at their Annual Conference Thrive, taking place in St. Louis, MO, from February 28 - March 1, 2024.
People like you fund this independent journalism. Please consider supporting it for $8/month or $80/year. You can also make a one-time gift here.
Thrive costs at least $750 to go to, which does not include add-on workshops you can purchase for an additional fee.
Here’s the content you get access to for that money:
They have entire masterclasses based on identity politics:
They’re learning how to integrate social justice (socialism) throughout their curriculum).
They’re embracing queer, which is a far-left political ideology, and teaching students how to think “beyond the binary” because their goal is to abolish the gender binary.
They’re teaching Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI). A lot of DEI.
They’re teaching critical race theory and anti-racism. Anti-racism means anti-capitalism.
They’re teaching Social Emotional Learning (SEL). SEL is practicing psychology on your kids without a license.
They’re teaching climate justice:
And they’re trying to figure out how to get around the SCOTUS ruling on affirming action:

Fight back against the woke and support my work.
I believe the woke - on the left and the right - are an existential threat to our values as Americans. Some of them know it, most of them are just useful innocents. Regardless, fighting back against this woke cultural revolution is my full-time job. I’m dedicated to exposing the woke ideology in our country, helping people to understand what’s going on, and providing spaces for non-woke people to connect, support each other, and plan ways to fight back.
Here’s how you can help.

Is there any time left for workshops that actually aim to help kids learn to read or do maths?
I will follow this. As a parent and teacher I am trying to work with the system rather than fighting it. I am embedded within, and forming partnerships rather than throwing grenades. Public education is important to a democratic society. I am not altogether opposed to social democracy. I do understand that we are at the end of a cycle which shows excess bloat, rot, and brokenness. But I am trying to understand and be kind. I think I will tell my story, but trying to navigate professional and family life, and do so with integrity.
It seems to me that New Hampshire is pretty white. Correct me if I’m wrong.
