It may look like the left is lying low, but don’t be fooled. In a few weeks, they’ll be out in full force, ready to protest the inauguration of Donald Trump. For them, this isn’t just about resistance—it’s about recruitment. They see the next four years as a golden opportunity to radicalize anyone they can, targeting disillusioned Democrats, disaffected liberals, and progressives who’ve lost faith in the Democratic Party post-election. Their goal? Expand their revolutionary ranks and push the Overton window even further left.

Here’s a rundown of the groups already mobilizing protests and demonstrations, both in Washington, D.C., and across the country. If you know of any that aren’t on this list, drop them in the comments. Let’s keep the spotlight on their playbook.

Antifa Festivals of Resistance

Antifa groups are holding “festivals of resistance” all over the country to teach people about direct action, protest safety, digital security, reproductive autonomy, and more tools they will use in their collective struggle over the next four years.

We Fight Back

Immediately following election day, I reported the organization of the We Fight Back march on the inauguration:

The groups involved tend more far-left and are focused on issues related to immigration, the free Palestine movement, and reproductive justice. They include the following: The People’s Forum, Palestinian Youth Movement, ANSWER Coalition, US Palestinian Community Network, Jill Stein, Claudia De La Cruz (Party for Socialism and Liberation), Rev. Graylan Hagler, Artists Against Apartheid, Bangladeshi Americans for Political Progress, Chris Smalls, Rowan Blanchard, CODEPINK, Damayan, Diaspora Pa’lante Collective, IFCO/Pastors for Peace, Los Angeles Tenents Union, Nodutdol, Palestinian Feminist Collective, Union de Vecinos

Women’s March Rebrands as People’s March

The pink pussy hat march is back, but with new branding as the “People’s March” to be more gender inclusive. They will be marching in Washington DC and organizing marches all over the country.

Organizations involved in this include the following: Abortion Action Now, Time to Act, SisterSong, Women’s March, Popular Democracy, Harriet’s Wildest Dreams, The Feminist Front, NOW, Planned Parenthood, National Women’s Law Center, and The Frontline. These organizations tend to be more associated with the Democratic Socialists of America and other reform-minded groups rather than revolutionary groups. However, they are ripe for radicalization.

National Action Network is Al Sharpton’s organization, which tends to be more progressive than socialist in nature:
