Yesterday, badass teacher activist Ramona Bessinger (I recommend you give her a follow) posted this: Tufts University is looking for non-binary and gender fluid children AGES 3-8 to study.
If your child qualifies, they would go for a 40-minute in-person interview where they would be read books about gender:
The researchers tell the parents not to read the books to the kids beforehand because they want authentic interactions.
Then, they will ask both the child and their parents questions about gender.
This screenshot was taken from the survey instrument. You can see the full survey below.
In the demographic questionnaire, they ask explicitly if the child has autism, whether or not they’ve been formally diagnosed:
This could be one of two things:
They could be studying if autistic children are more likely to be gender fluid/non-binary/suspectable to gender ideology
Or, more nefariously, they could be trying to reverse engineer how to indoctrinate autistic children.
Regardless of intent, the research they appear to be doing could make assumptions about both.
If you read my expose on Autistic Sex Education, you’d know how they’re going to use this information:
This is just a hunch, but would it surprise anyone if they were doing this research trying to reverse engineer how to socially transition children starting at age 3, and with a specific focus on autistic children?
I wonder how they’re getting approval from the IRB (institutional review board, the board that makes sure research being conducted is ethical and safe), but that’s another question for another day.
The center that is looking for them is the Abby & Anna SOGIE Lab, which is located in the Department of Child Study and Human Development and they are conducting research on gender development.
In the remainder of this premium article, I will:
Show you the complete survey instrument.
Take you inside this lab and introduce you to the people who run it (spoiler, there are A LOT of they pronouns).
We’ll have a look at their social media to see what :::ahem::: biases they might have.
Trust me, you have to see this. Join me on the rest of this wild ride below.
