University of California Professor Argues To Change The Definition of Antisemitism To "Beyond The Jew"
Both sides of the political spectrum are trying to hijack the term.

The last week has been rife with demands to control the definition of antisemitism, with me ending up in the middle of a discussion on a Twitter Space about whether the term “Christ Is King” is antisemitic. I’ll cover this controversy, along with the new law in Texas against antisemitic speech, in a separate post.
But several days before I did that Twitter Space, I watched the left tried to hijack the term for their use.
Dorian Bell is a professor of Jewish Studies at the University of California at Santa Cruz.
In a presentation he gave at the University of California Berkeley (uploaded to YouTube on March 15, 2024), he argued two things.
In this video, he argues that it is antisemitic to be against the immigration of black and brown migrants into the United States, even if those migrants are not Jewish:
The rational is that antisemitic can apply to “more than just Jews.”
In this clip, he argues that if you are critical of The Frankfurt School and critical theory (the basis of Marxism in the United States), you are also antisemitic:
This is not the first time the left has tried to change the definition of antisemitism. I also recently covered an education website from socialist book publisher Haymarket Books in which they argued that you could not be antisemitic to Jewish people with power and money. Find that coverage here.
Let me know what you think in the comments.
Fight back against the woke and support my work.
I believe the woke - on the left and the right - are an existential threat to our values as Americans. Some of them know it, most of them are just useful innocents. Regardless, fighting back against this woke cultural revolution is my full-time job. I’m dedicated to exposing the woke ideology in our country, helping people to understand what’s going on, and providing spaces for non-woke people to connect, support each other, and plan ways to fight back.
Here’s how you can help.

The good professor is pushing such a convoluted contrived bit of sophistry that the only way a listener could be convinced that he is serious would be if the listener had brain cells shutdown.
Wow I seem to have missed these videos'
