I was feeling a bit under the weather this week so most of my updates come from my YouTube channel (which I hope you’re subscribed to!), but there were some major developments that I will be discussing very soon about the Montana Library Association leaving the American Library Association after they elected a Marxist president.
This is a big deal.
Remember back when the Biden administration first started attacking parents at school board meetings? When the National School Board Association send a letter to the Biden Administration asking for help in dealing with these unruly parents, the blowback led to half the states in the country cutting ties with the association.
Public schools are the battlefield. But Libraries are also important, not only because of the overlap with public schools but because they are also a taxpayer-funded resource in serving local communities.
Montana leaving due to a Marxist being elected president of the organization could be the first domino falling that leads to other states leaving as well.
This is a story we’re going to be following very closely and there are so many layers to it. More to come really soon.
In the meantime, here are some updates from the week.
We watched the meeting where the Montana State Library Commission voted to leave the American Library Association, so you can see it play out in real time:
I discussed the failure of the woke Indiana Jones movie at the box office in favor of Sound of Freedom with my friend Joseph Ford Cotto:
I told you why I think Vivek Ramaswammy is the best (and most unwoke) candidate for president:
For happy hour, we watch Queer Holiness (it wasn’t actually as bad as queer theology, believe it or not):
And then we had a weekend double dose of Socialism. For our regular socialism Saturday, we watched a group of Marxists try to take down James Lindsay:
And just a few hours ago, we watched the craziest presentation on Transgender Marxism I’ve ever seen. At least two of the panelists were on drugs, I’m sure of it:
