Why are they trying to make life easier for pedophiles?
California enacts bill to give convicted pedophiles protections from registering as a sex offender in the name of "equality"

I’ve previously written about how I believe the woke left want to make pedophiles (or, excuse me, “minor-attracted persons”) a protected class. If they become a protected class, that means they won’t be able to be fired from their job for being a pedophile.
Even if they are a kindergarten teacher.
So, if we believe that is their end goal, then we need to begin to work backward from that goal to understand how they will achieve it.
We need to be looking for ways that they will try to establish a precedent for giving legal protections to pedophiles.
And we can always rely on the state of California when it comes to the most likely being candidate to implement something crazy.
Enter Senate Bill 145.
It passed in 2020 when no one was paying attention (there was a summer of riots and $2 billion worth of property damage, after all), but recently had a spotlight shown on it.
“The bill prevents young adults engaging in non-vaginal sex with a minor within 10 years of their age from being automatically added to the sex offender registry, and allows a state judge to make that decision instead.”
I’m sorry…what?
Let’s game out a scenario.
A 19-year-old young adult engages in a non-vaginal sex act with a 9-year-old.
They get caught.
They get convicted.
And the state of California has passed a law that those adults won’t necessarily be added to a registry of sex offenders because it would be discriminatory to do so.
But oh, it gets better.
The bill also extends the same discretion for state judges over sex offender registration for certain young adults who have engaged in voluntary vaginal or non-vaginal sex with minors.
I wonder if they believe that a 9-year-old can voluntarily engage in vaginal intercourse with a 19-year-old.
Fact checkers are having a field day.
Of course, the media is backing up the state of California on this run, running cover by making sure that California definitely didn’t legalize pedophilia, including the Associated Press and Reuters.
As an aside, if you ever believe anything the AP or Reuters says to you again, I suspect you’ll live to regret that decision.
But the media isn’t even focusing on the piece that’s important.
The question is not “did the state of California legalize pedophilia?
The question is “did the state of California put legal protections in play for pedophiles?”
Those are two very different questions.
The state of California did not make pedophilia legal. It’s still illegal.
But what they did do is provide legal protections for pedophiles.
And that’s just as important.
The state of California is laying the groundwork to make pedophiles a protected class. These are the types of things we must be diligently watching out for. They are going to do these as quietly as possible. They are going to try to sneak it into law by making it as boring as possible and giving it an Orwellian sounding name to throw you off the track so that you don’t even think to read the text of the bill. They are not going to do this with fanfare and a press conference.
When the woke left does these things, they hide it as best they can so that rest of us don’t find out about it.
That’s why you must be diligent. Keep an eye out for these things in your state.
If similar things are happening in your area, leave a comment and let us know.
Fight back against the woke and support my work
I believe the woke - on the left and the right - are an existential threat to our values as Americans. Some of them know it, most of them are just useful innocents. Regardless, fighting back against this woke cultural revolution is my full-time job. I’m dedicated to exposing the woke ideology in our country, helping people to understand what’s going on, and providing spaces for non-woke people to connect, support each other, and plan ways to fight back.
Here’s how you can help.
The bill would make some sense if the age gap was closer. A lot of college kids are having sex with high school kids. But as with most things these days the protected classes are the benefactors. Pederasts can now pederast without fear.
I remember looking into this when the story was new. The "equality" was in extending the same judicial discretion already allowed for hetero sex offenders to the alphabet community. They went a little wide on the age gap but horny teens do stupid things and sending a newly minted adult out into the world branded as a sex offender because the judge had no legal discretion isn't my idea of a good thing. If you want to scream about something why aren't you questioning the laws already in place when this was passed? The ones that allowed wealthy or connected Hollywood types to offend over and over again while some sympathetic judge kept them off the registry?
