EXCLUSIVE: American Library Association President Emily Drabinski says being politically neutral isn't possible for librarians.
This comes two weeks after she was caught on tape saying libraries should be sites of socialist organizing.

The reason that I spend so much time listening to training, conferences and classes from the woke (authoritarian) lift is because these events are the places where they feel comfortable saying the quiet part out loud.
If you want to hear what the far left is saying to each other when they think we aren’t listening, you have to go to the places where they’re talking.
And such was the case today.
I held a day-long SPY STREAM event for my community to watch the Urban Librarians Conference.
Emily Drabinski, the self-professed Marxist Lesbian who is the current president of the American Library Association, was the keynote.
And, just like two weeks ago at the Socialism 2023 Conference, Emily said the quiet part out loud.
After she was introduced as a Marxist Lesbian, and discussed how much harassment she’s received publicly by people who quoted her accurately, we get to the good stuff.
When a participant asked Emily if librarians can remain politically neutral, she said the following:
“…when you're highly politicized neutrality becomes very difficult.
It's a topic I've thought a lot about and I'm a materialist. I believe, in the real world, that if I buy this book, I can't buy that book. Budgets are limited, shelf space is limited, work is limited.
And so it's hard to make an argument for neutrality when…we gotta make decisions about things.”
See for yourself:
Emily says that political neutrality isn’t possible for librarians because they have to make decisions.
Combined with her saying that she believes libraries should be sites of socialist organizing just two weeks prior, I think we can guess which direction Emily might favor in her decision-making process as the head of America’s largest library association.
How much more evidence do state library associations need to pull out of the American Library Association until they get themselves a non-Marxist president?
What do you think?

Fight back against the woke and support my work.
I believe the woke - on the left and the right - are an existential threat to our values as Americans. Some of them know it, most of them are just useful innocents. Regardless, fighting back against this woke cultural revolution is my full-time job. I’m dedicated to exposing the woke ideology in our country, helping people to understand what’s going on, and providing spaces for non-woke people to connect, support each other, and plan ways to fight back.
Here’s how you can help.

Yes and yes! Glad to hear the emphatic suggestion for states to pull out of THIS ALA enterprise. Talk about political siding. Emily needs to be undermined of her influence and position before she causes more damage to publicly funded libraries. Pull the funding. Carnegie is ‘turning over in the grave.’ Most people have no idea. Thank you Karlyn for revealing the truth.
