Succinct, real, accurate and enlightening, as always! I hope people who read this take it seriously and understand the growing threat...and choose to stand against it.
Educating others is the primary objective because it gives people an opportunity to interpret these definitions for themselves. Once they make that decision, we can move forward. For example, they would label me cis which comes from Latin, meaning "on this side of" but that does not even clarify the meaning, does it?
The term was developed in academic and activist circles, in the 1990s, during discussions about gender identity. Instead of singling out transgender and transexuals, they opted to give everyone a sexual identity. As a marketer, I can understand the desire to do this. As a kid of the 80s and 90s, I say F Off.
Karlyn clearly states "Language is the battlefield. They change definitions to shift power." When I hear "Cis" it makes my stomach turn. It is a disgusting term and I want to abolish it. However, that is their goal. They want to get rid of gender altogether. We need to inform people about what is going on. There is an old saying in radio, "tell two friends to tune in and ask them to tell two friends." It is a quick way to build an audience especially if you have similar interests as the people that you tell.
I think the only way to fight it is to reject it outright. Because what is asserted without evidence can be rejected in a similar manner. I have literally told them "I reject your formulation" then waited for a response.
Sometimes, the best way to fight is to not fight at all. Fighting them gives them the power that they feel they are winning, and will ultimately triumph.
No, that's actually the worst thing you can do. That's what the right has been doing for decades and things have only gotten worse. This is a failing strategy that will only lead to the left winning and I beg you to stop doing this and stop giving this advice.
How you fight it is that you learn as much as you can about it and you teach it to others. You are not trying to convince them - you can't. You need to educate others.

Well said and to the point.
I'ma save this one, I have a feeling I'll come back to it.
Cheers.

Whoah! This one took some heavy lifting. No cookies for me, this is going to take a long time to digest.
How does one fight this nonsense? It seems impossible because of the deep infiltration.
We need to get this into the hands of as many parents as possible as many people as possible!
