How I Became An Unwoke Activist

It wasn't a part of my life plan. But, somehow, I ended up in exactly the right place.

I was updating the about page of Actively Unwoke and took a stroll down memory lane over the last 3+ years that I’ve been doing unwoke activism. It’s gone by in the blink of an eye.

Everyone comes across my work differently, so very few people know the whole story. Perhaps my journey will inspire you to dig in and get more involved.

I never intended to do this. It was all an accident. And I’m nothing special, no different than you are. The difference between most other people and me is simply that I’m more inclined to take action when I see something wrong. That’s what being Actively Unwoke is all about - taking action.

My first act of unwoke activism was rather simple: I wore a red hat that said “make speech free again” through a convention of woke knitters:

It was a simple act of defiance that set me on the path to going to a Trump rally, leaving the Democratic party publicly, and vaulting me in the public eye.

After that, I was constantly talking to people about how the woke left was impacting their lives and I started to learn a lot of information. Investigating and exposing the woke left became an obsession for me, like a game.

I had my first big win when I exposed the city of Seattle for hosting segregated training for their employees. This is what Christopher Rufo followed up on that launched him into the fight against Critical Race Theory. He was the only journalist to follow up.

Later on, when the Washington Post was doing a hit piece on Rufo, I had his back. He is essential and must be protected at all costs. And you should always show loyalty to activists over journalists. Protect and help each other, if you can.

As a result, the Washington Post canceled its hit piece. Winning!

For this, Breitbart called me a hero:

“Borysenko handled this perfectly, beautifully…This is precisely how you deal with the corporate media…Facts and contempt and exposure all delivered with a side-order of steaming-hot belligerence.”

I broke the story that became the first federal lawsuit against critical race theory in schools in the country. I still work with Gabrielle Clark today to help parents.

I broke the Coca-Cola "Be Less White" story.

It got over 28 million views on Twitter and was one of the biggest unwoke stories of all time. LinkedIn was forced to remove the training as a result.

The scandal was so crazy, it made Coke change their outgoing voicemail at their corporate headquarters. No, my reporting was not inaccurate.

I went on Fox News with Shannon Bream to discuss the scandal:

After that, I wrote a book called Actively Unwoke: The Ultimate Guide for Fighting Back Against The Woke Insanity In Your Life.

I started hosting Happy Hours weekly on my YouTube channel every Friday at 5pm eastern. We have drinks, watch a woke training from start to finish, and talk about it.

I’ve been doing this almost every Friday for over two years.

That’s how I found the Burlington Schools.

After this Happy Hour, I worked with member of community to research all weekend.

The following week, I exposed the Burlington Vermont Schools for grooming middle school children live on the internet. It got nationwide coverage and caused a lot of backlash against the school district.

After it got so much coverage, the Vermont Commission on Human Rights partnered with Outright Vermont to hold an online panel with students to double down on the grooming. I found out about it, infiltrated it with several other people and, even though they tried kicked us out, we still got them on tape calling me a hate channel.

For exposing it, I got called an "unwoke cult leader" by the progressive press in Vermont.

When the press wrote that hit piece on me, they inadvertently endorsed my SPY STREAM for scaring away parents from attending these types of online events. I call that winning.

I kept exposing the Burlington Schools. I exposed them for using checklists to keep track of how much LGBTQ+ flair was in each classroom, even in elementary schools.

And again for continuing their groomer trainings in person. They don’t do them on video anymore…I can’t imagine why that is.

I exposed the schools in Cambridge MA for hiring a Marxist who believes in abolishing whiteness and capitalism to train teachers in their district for a $32,000 price tag.

And I exposed them again for hiring a drag queen, an adult industry "sexpert", a gender queer femme, and a Marxist revolutionary to teach middle school students.

I infiltrated a private training for teachers called Autistic Sex Education, recorded it, and released it to the world. It’s one of the most shocking things I’ve ever seen.

Recently, I’ve been exposing the Michigan Department of Education for training educators in Michigan to groom students and withhold information from parents:

There’s other stuff too, much of which you can read about on this Substack.

But my point is that my journey has just been a series of actions. Every time I saw a problem, I took a simple action.
