I appreciate what you are doing so much. Thank you. I am grateful for your reporting, your willingness to risk your safety, and your honesty about things you believe; and I don't expect to agree with you on everything. I subscribe and support you because like you I want everyone to preview the logical outcome of this semi-bloodless revolution, and I want to equip myself and others with the tools to put up whatever fight is possible this late into the cycle.
I am wondering though, as I read through this, what you propose replacing police and prisons with; you don't need to answer here, but if you have workable ideas that achieve the goals of separating dangerous people from the non-dangerous, and help change the ones that can be changed, I am all ears. I think the prison industrial complex is a massive, corrupt kluge, but short of shipping dangerous prisoners to Antarctica, I don't see any other alternative.

I’m glad you were able to attend this conference. I think you bring up a very good point in your letter about these people not necessarily being evil. They have good intentions but have been misled. That means to me there is a way to reach some of them, perhaps not to completely change their world view but to at least expand it. If they manage to succeed we will all suffer from it, whether we support it or not. We can’t give up on conversation.
