I'm better at teaching what the left is doing than James Lindsay, and I'm tired of pretending I'm not.
It's time to admit that the academics will not save you.

I’ve been covering critical race theory since before most people knew what critical race theory was.
There were very few people ahead of me when I started in 2020.
James Lindsay was one of those people.
I looked up to him. I learned from him. I was inspired by his constant, unwavering efforts and his level of productivity.
I dedicated the last chapter in my book Actively Unwoke to James for a reason: If everyone fought like he has, we wouldn’t have a problem and I wanted other people to be inspired by James just as much as I was.
But between then and now, things have changed.
I started doing regular deep dives into woke trainings, at first once a week and then multiple times a week.
And then I started covering the hardcore socialist left, taking my audience into trainings, events, and conferences no one on the internet was showing them.
I went undercover at their conferences to document what was happening in the real world, things that no one else was going to.
I did this for three years, almost every day of the week, to show people full form video and break down the language so they could understand it, so they could decide for themselves what they think.
As I was doing this, I stopped listening to James Lindsay because I didn’t want to be influenced by him. I wanted to see the primary source evidence for myself and decide what I thought on my own.
However, I still encouraged my followers to listen to him.
I never discussed how I didn’t think his methods were effective at teaching ordinary people.
I never commented when he overused the term “groomer” to the point where his audience was calling everyone they disagreed with a groomer, thus eliminating all meaning from the term.
I never commented on his bizarre ramblings about the gnostics and just said I didn’t agree with his take, and we were allowed to disagree.
And I certainly never stated what I knew was true: That after three years of developing my teaching methods to show people what the political left is doing in this country, I’m a far better teacher for the average person than James Lindsay is.
My audience understands what’s going on at a depth that James Lindsay’s audience does not.
They know what’s going on because I show them videos of things leftists say and do in their trainings, I teach them how to break down the language, and we drill and use repetition until they memorize it.
James Lindsay doesn’t do any of this. Oftentimes, members of James Lindsay’s audience would find their way to my work and comment on how much more I interacted with them than James, and how much more I taught them about what was happening in the real world.
James focuses entirely on the theoretical and the philosophical. This is important, and I don’t want to discount its value.
I focus entirely on the practical implementation, things showing up in the real world. I believe this is more important because those philosophy papers written 100 years ago by dead people don’t always dictate what people do in the world today, and the left will tell us what they’re doing if we just watch their trainings and listen.
I developed a better analysis and teaching methodology that was more predictive of what the left was and is doing in the real world, and James Lindsay hates it.
Which is why he blocked me today on X/Twitter:
This is the post he blocked me for about Moms For Liberty, which James is paid by to support and an organization that I consider to have caused more problems for the real “anti-woke” movement than almost any in the country with their ineffective strategies and black lists for people who disagree with the book bans.
But I suspect that’s not the only reason James blocked me.
You see, since I’ve gotten so good at breaking down the language of the far left, James has been threatened by me.
James can’t explain what the left is doing in plain English - everything he does comes with the flowery voice of someone who has spent a lifetime in academia.
Normal people can’t understand and easily comprehend the academic voice, which is why I break everything down in plain English, as simply as I possibly can.
And last night, I took some of James Lindsay’s tweets, and I corrected them to align with what the far left ACTUALLY says.
James uses conservative talking points from the organizations he’s paid by that do not reflect the reality of the far-left that we’ve seen show up again, and again and again on video. So, I corrected them.
When James tweeted this….
I quote tweeted him and said this (you can watch the video here). You can’t see the original tweet in the screenshot below now because he’s blocked me.
James didn’t respond to the criticism, because he can’t. He knows full well I’m right and he knows full well I have video evidence to back it up, which means he can’t win the debate.
The truth, apparently, no longer matters to James…at least not more than his paycheck from Moms For Liberty.
When James tweeted that the left only hated Moms For Liberty because they weren’t publishing enough children’s books to defeat their book-banning plans….
I quote tweeted him and said they were writing books, along with evidence of those books existing with a picture that I took in the bookstore of the Socialism 2023 Conference, which only has socialist books published by socialist book publishers.
When James tweeted this:
I quote-tweeted him and said it wasn’t Western values, it was capitalism, and stated that the far left is very specific in their language (you can check out the video vault if you want evidence), and they never say anything about Western values.
They talk about capitalism and private property.
The only people who talk about western values are conservatives who are trying to convince people that whiteness is about skin color when it is not - it is a reference to capitalism.
In none of these cases did James dispute what I said, or engage in a discussion around any of it.
In fact, he’s never spoken to me, not publicly or privately.
It’s not that I haven’t tried. It’s that he’s ignored every attempt at outreach.
And the reason is that he can’t because he knows if he tries to debate me, I will hit him with video clip after video clip from socialist trainings to back up everything I say, so people can hear it directly from the left themselves.
People don’t need to take my word for it.
They don’t need to read an academic paper.
They can just watch a short video clip of socialists activists saying exactly what I say they do.
James can’t answer those clips, so he pretends they don’t exist to shill for his conservative masters.
And every time someone brought this up and asked me why I didn’t collaborate with James Lindsay, I brushed it off and said “We’re doing our own things”…but the reality is that James stopped supporting anything I was doing after I developed this method of teaching people, and he hasn’t supported it in a really long time.
So much for wanting to beat the left, huh?
I’ve felt disrespected by him for a really long time, and I never told anyone, because we need as many people fighting back as we can muster.
But the reality is not everyone feels that way, and James obviously views this as a competition.
Since it’s now clear that the respect was never mutual, that James views me as beneath him, that he won’t have the slightest bit of intellectual integrity to acknowledge the evidence right in front of him that what he’s teaching his audience is wrong, I’m not going to cover for him any longer.
I’m better at teaching people what the left is doing, in plain English, everything backed up with video receipts so people can see for themselves that what I’m saying is the truth…and I’m tired of pretending I’m not.
Everything I teach is grounded in reality, in the real world, not a twisted version of academic literature.
I don’t show you a paper about critical race theory - I show you activists talking about how they’re teaching it in the classroom.
I don’t show you a paper about gender ideology - I show you queer Marxists talking about indoctrinating kids and taking away parental rights.
I don’t show you materials from 100+ years ago by dead people or make you listen to a four-hour podcast about Hegal. I show you their conference presentations and help you to break down the language they’re using to understand it, so you can see it for yourself when it shows up in the real world.
My material is accessible, and is broken down in a way that allows people to develop a deep understanding of it.
I’ll never ask people to choose - learn from whoever you want.
But more than a few people have found their way from James’s audience over here and consistently tell me I’m the one that helped them develop the best understanding of what is going on in the world.
James may always have a bigger audience than I do, which makes it even more shameful that he’s hiding information from them.
But I know I’m a better teacher for normal people.
Which is why he really blocked me.
Because he knows it too.

Fight back against the woke and support my work.
I believe the woke - on the left and the right - are an existential threat to our values as Americans. Some of them know it, most of them are just useful innocents. Regardless, fighting back against this woke cultural revolution is my full-time job. I’m dedicated to exposing the woke ideology in our country, helping people to understand what’s going on, and providing spaces for non-woke people to connect, support each other, and plan ways to fight back.
Here’s how you can help.

Wish I could say I was surprised. Academics are notoriously thin-skinned.
Everyone should watch your content!
I know plenty of apolitical teachers who think they're teaching tolerance and have no idea they are pushing Marxism.
