Over the past several months, James Lindsay has made numerous character attacks against me. I will lay out the evidence below and also link to videos I have discussing each instance so you can see for yourself.

He’s accused me of having personality disorders I don’t have.

James has accused me of having serious personality disorders I don’t have. He is in no way qualified to diagnose these disorders. (Video 1) (Video 2) (Video 3)

The first accusation came after a member of my community wrote a fan fiction about me that James didn’t like.

In a post (below) that happened months after the above, James accused me of having “violent sexual fantasies” about him due to the fan fiction a member of my community wrote where there was a joke about me whipping James until he screamed WHITENESS MEANS CAPITALISM. Read the fan fiction here.

I did not write the fan fiction, but James gave me the credit for it.

In this one, James is reposting an account that has just been created to assist James in smearing me, and only has 7 followers:

James says all my streams are about him, which is provably untrue just by a look at the live streaming page on my YouTube channel. I posted this video on Twitter walking through it.

Here, James is accusing me of having cluster-B personality disorder (and photoshopping the view count, which I’ll address below).

James also accuses me of “borderline elevation” of controversial figure Nick Fuentes based on the fact that I’m friendly with him and his fans, the Groypers. Apparently, my having friends James doesn’t approve of is proof I have a personality disorder.

Here, James accuses me of DARVO because I responded to his harassment campaign. He claims I did a 3.5 hour stream about him when, in fact, I took 30 minutes out of one of my Socialism Saturday stream to discuss James’s unhinged posts about me, and spend the other 3 hours watching a socialist training. UPDATE: Added after original publication, James Lindsay claimed publicly that my intellectual disagreements with him are proof that I “want him.”

Public struggle sessions to cancel my work

James has demanded that organizations remove credit for my work that I rightfully earned, and engaged in public struggle sessions to demand they do so. (Video)

Attacked members of my community for teaching people

James has even attacked members of my audience who calmly try to correct what he’s teaching people, demanding this audience block them. Reagan has been watching leftist content with me for over three years. (Video)

Photoshopped evidence to smear me

James has photoshopped evidence to try to discredit my work and convince people no one is watching my streams on multiple occasions (Video)

Over 700 people had watched this stream by the time James posted this photoshopped screenshot, which again accuses me of having a personality disorder I don’t have.

Spread ridiculous (and provably false) rumors

He even spread a rumor that I tried to channel Hitler…when all I did was watch a video of someone else doing it for fun and entertainment. (Video)

Stolen my work

James openly admits to stealing other people’s work…and then we find that things he says sound eerily similar to things that I’ve said previous to him. (Video 1) (Video 2)

Look at the subtitles in this video, from a speech James gave back in April.

We found more proof of James stealing my work in this video, in which he’s trying to co-opt my How To Speak Socialist class that I was teaching for a year before James ever mentioned learning to “speak leftist.”

Accuses me of harassment for responding to him

And despite all this, James has accused me of engaging in a targeted harassment campaign against him because James doesn’t like that I respond to all of his absurd claims about me. (Video)

That’s a lot. I could provide more receipts, but that gives you a basic idea of the smear campaign James Lindsay is running against me.

But with all these responses to me that James has taken the time to make, he has never done one thing:

James has never answered my intellectual criticisms of his work, which started all of this.

The reality is this: I create more anti-communist content in a week than James does in a month. I stream for 3-4 hours a day about this, 6 days a week, make clips, and write written articles that appear on this substack. The breadth and depth of my work speaks for itself, and it’s all free and publicly available for people to review for themselves.

I stopped listening to James Lindsay’s work in mid-2021, and I didn’t realize until the end of 2023 how far ahead of him my work had taken me in understanding the left and in developing techniques to teach it to other people.

Based on watching thousands of hours of far-left training and going undercover at their events over the past several years, I have very specific grievances with what James is doing.

I believe that James is lying to millions of people about the left to sell the political narratives of the organizations he works with. He’s either lying deliberately, because the truth doesn’t support the narrative he is paid to sell, or he is lying out of ignorance on the topic, which is almost just as bad when he’s holding himself up as the expert.

These are my top grievances with James Lindsay’s work:

1. James has not been clear with his audience that the goal of the left is to abolish capitalism.

   He used to refuse to say the word entirely, and he only says it now after my community pressured him to do so. He has also not been clear with his audience that capitalism is specifically defined by the left as private property ownership (more on that definition here). People need to understand this so they are clear about what they are fighting, and they understand how everything from systemic racism to gender ideology to queers for Palestine to environmental justice leads back to this singular goal.

2. James has not been clear with his audience that the goal of queer theory is to abolish the gender binary and the nuclear family.

   Instead, he sells them some ridiculous fantasy about a gnostic sex cult run by Oprah, new age spiritualists, and the New World Order (Video 1) (Video 2). He makes money selling the idea of “groomers” sexualizing kids, when that is just a tiny sliver of the problem and attacks on the gender binary and the nuclear family are far more important and far more prevalent on the left.

3. James has not been clear that the left is attacking parental rights because they believe that parental rights are a form of private property under capitalism.

   They believe the nuclear family reproduces capitalism through social reproduction theory, and they believe they must disrupt the nuclear family in order to abolish capitalism. James has never talked about this to his audience. He has only addressed “the problem of reproduction” in reference to the schools, which is not how the left uses the term “social reproduction theory.”

4. James has repeatedly called Kamala Harris a communist and a Marxist, when she is neither.

   Real communsits and Marxists denounce her, they protest her and the DNC, they go to her events and she tells them to shut up, her own husband calls her pro-capitalism, which real communists would never do. Kamala is not good, but she is an opportunist progressive. Every time James calls her a communist, he misleads people and allows real communists and socialists to advance their strategies completely unopposed.

I have other grievances with James as well, but those are my top four at the moment.

Generally speaking, what James Lindsay tells his audience about the left is completely unhinged from the reality of the left on the ground today, based on watching thousands of hours of their real training videos and going undercover at their events. James is cherry-picking academic sources, ignoring other academic sources, and ignoring real-world evidence when it contradicts the narrative he is trying to sell.

If people do not understand their enemies, they can never defeat them, and James Lindsay is leading them right off a cliff like the pied piper.

I demand a live, public debate with James Lindsay.

I’m sick of James Lindsay’s character attacks on me, and so this will be my answer to James from now on every time he makes one of his baseless claims:

DEBATE ME, BITCH.

I challenge James Lindsay to an intellectual debate based on the specific grievances that I discussed. Here are the only conditions I have:

1. I will be able to show primary source video evidence of leftist trainings, recordings, and other videos to back up all the claims I make about the left with real sources that people can watch and see for themselves. If James wants to show videos or other sources, I have no problem with that.

2. The debate will be live, so it will be unedited.

3. The debate will be conducted virtually.

I will debate James anytime as long as those three conditions are met.

I will not make any character attacks on James, although I do reserve the right to defend myself and debunk any personal attacks James makes on me.

It’s time for James Lindsay to cut the shit, put up, or shut up.

Defeating the left is one of the most critical goals we can work towards as a country. When James Lindsay spends more time attacking me than he does correctly informing his audience of millions of people, that is a problem that we will all suffer the consequences of.

This is not a game. James needs to stop treating it as such.

I will await his reply. In the meantime, my community will engage in a public pressure campaign against James, encouraging him to come to the table like a man and debate.

If this debate doesn’t happen, it’s because James Lindsay refuses to engage with the intellectual arguments I’m making, and the fault is entirely his. And that should reveal to everyone how serious James is about this entire topic.
