James Lindsay issues ominous warning: They're going to try to make "Drag/Trans Floyd" happen
They want to recreate the BLM riots of 2020 all over again.

I don’t normally amplify the ideas of other people on this site, but I think this one is worth amplifying: According James Linday, the woke left is trying to orchestrate the murder of a drag queen or trans person to spark the inevitable backlash that comes with such an event.
He calls it “Drag Floyd” because they are trying to recreate the events of the summer of 2020 following George Floyd’s death and find a new martyr. It doesn’t really matter who it is, or the reality behind the event - the left will use any incident of violence against trans people or drag queens as the spark to a massive destabilizing movement.

I think he’s right.
Recall back a few years to right before George Floyd’s death. It was an odd time for the woke left because we were legitimately in the midst of a pandemic. Starting with 15 days to slow the spread, we actually had a nice few months of break from woke nonsense because the world had an actual problem to worry about.
The woke left’s made up problems can’t compete with worldwide pandemics and global shutdowns.
And so there was a few months of peace and quiet.
Then George Floyd - who, by all accounts, was not a good man - died. We can bicker about the nature of his death, whether it was murder or and overdose, but the truth is that it doesn’t matter.
And the woke left shot into the public consciousness like they had been fired out of a cannon. It was months of pent up hostility and outrage waiting to explode…and it did as soon as they had the opportunity.
They didn’t care about George Floyd. They saw George Floyd as an opportunity to achieve their primary goals, which are always and forever the following:
Gain as much power as possible
Destabilize the system
Attack Capitalism
Usher in their Marxist utopia
Because Black Lives Matter is itself a Marxist organization, it can be argued that the BLM riots in the summer of 2020 contributed to progress in all four of the woke left’s primary goals. It was their opportunity to gain as much power as they could leading up to the 2020 elections.
Opportunities like that don’t come around every day. And the left hasn’t had one in a few years.
Lindsay’s hypothesis of Drag Floyd is exactly the type of opportunity they are waiting for. If any violence is committed against a drag queen or a trans person by someone on the political right (or even someone they can characterize as someone on the political right) we will see the riots of the summer of 2020 all over again, but this time it will be worse.
And, God forbid, it’s a black drag queen or black trans woman that ends up as the martyr because the intersectionality points would make it far worse than $2 billion of property damage.

Fight back against the woke and support my work
I believe the woke - on the left and the right - are an existential threat to our values as Americans. Some of them know it, most of them are just useful innocents. The Left may be trying to create a "Drag Floyd" martyr, but I cannot imagine it will succeed on anything approaching the level of the 2020 summer of BLM's Burn Loot Murder campaign. They weren't able to generate a fraction of that protest energy after Roe v Wade got overturned, with abortion-rights having much higher levels of support than the transgender agenda. Even a sizeable segment L's G's and B's is sick of the Trannies. I don't see it happening. And if the Trannies get violent the way BLM/Antifa did, I would imagine the backlash against them would be intense and immediate.
It seems very likely, and at the moment, all cards in the deck are stacked in their favor.
