This is more than just a case of the zealous word police bowdlerizing literature. The target is, as always, the malleable child. While the woke vigorously pushes sexually explicit literature at inappropriate grade levels and grooms athletic and so-called "Tom-boy" girls to change their pronouns, they remove or rewrite some of the most popular works of children's literature if they are not in lockstep with woke rules. Six (?) of Dr. Seuss's books are not going to be republished. (Illustrations were the problem here.) I wish these idiots luck in clawing back all the original copies (physical and digital) of Dahl's books. I'm just curious to see what happens to the word "father" in "Danny, the Champion of the World." Will this wonderful single-parent character be referred to as Parent 1? Or maybe Danny can call him "Sperm Doner." Such difficult choices the sensitivity readers must have to make!
