Get this - in Rick Marcotte Central School in South Burlington (Burlington’s wealthy neighbor), kids in the elementary school are forced to walk “bubbles and tails” 😶🌫️🐤 in single file along lines painted on the hallway floors. What is bubbles and tails, you ask? “Bubbles” means you puff out your cheeks like big bubbles (so you don’t talk or make sound in the hallway). “Tails” means you cross your wrists behind your back like a duck tail - or a pair of invisible handcuffs - so you don’t touch your neighbor or anything else.
But they get among the best test scores in the state, so it’s totally worth the creation of broken spirited, oppressed, compliant kids, right?!?
I’m increasingly disgusted by the wokening of this state. What’s happened in schools here in the past 20 years? Less and less academic education, more and more bending over backwards (lest someone - horrors! - be potentially offended), and incredible amounts of ever increasing control over children’s minds and movement of their bodies.
You cannot even print the way you want to anymore. Starting in kindergarten, the letter “T” can only be made one way, horizontal line followed by vertical line. If you make the blasphemous mistake of drawing the vertical line first, the letter is erased and you are told, “do it right or do it twice!” Whoever made the argument for pen stroke efficiency (yes, this is their argument. You MUST print this way because then you can “write faster”) has made the decision to place procedure over understanding… Which just about sums up the entirety of our public indoctrination institutions.
I could go on and in about the disgusting “school” programming practices in this state. Academics? A thing of the past. “JEDI training” (what The Schoolhouse, the most woke private school in South Burlington, calls one aspect of their brainwashing program) is the best description of what “education” means in VT institutional schools.

Your second grade teacher could let you sit quietly in the back, reading the encyclopedia, OR, insist that you play games to teach you that you’re “white and privileged “ (bad! Bad! ). My child is in Leland and Grey High school, Townsend, VT. He said the police questioned 6th graders. A 12 year old classmate told him she was having sex with upper classmen.
The school is covering up sexual assaults. No letter from the principal was sent to the parents about the police investigation from May of 2022. The Principal said he could not comment on an ongoing investigation and assured me the school was safe.
I believe if you teach 6th graders about genders and sex they will try it out. The principal should be convicted of enabling the crime.
I was never sure about prayers or for those that chose quiet meditation in public schools, but it is what it is.
The sad part is it is replaced now with Socialist Marxist CRT and other party line propaganda and now also replaced with sexual perversion of our children. Great tradeoff?
