It’s been a big week! And there’s more to come.
I want to welcome all the new subscribers and supporters who joined the substack this week, and thank you for following along with my work. It’s been a crazy week and I’ve had the honor of breaking stories from the Socialism Conference 2023 that I think will result in real change nationally. There’s still more to come (a lot more, actually), and I’m so glad everyone is here for the ride.
It’s important to follow the socialists because the real socialist activists are the tip of the spear of the woke left, and are driving the talking points of the Democratic party. If you want a sneak preview of what’s coming, the socialists will tell you.
Before we get into the news this week, I want to address a serious issue: Multiple conservative influencers stole my original reporting on the Socialism Conference this week without acknowledging where it came from:
Here is why this matters: When influencers steal from independent journalists, they hinder the ability of those journalists to reach an audience and raise money that supports future journalism.
The reality is that the Socialism Conference cost me about $3,000 to cover, out of my own pocket, and I spent it happily, not knowing if I would come back with anything.
Journalism costs money. Sometimes it produces results, and sometimes it doesn’t. But if you don’t have money, the journalism doesn’t get done.
If people steal that work without crediting the source, that hinders my ability to raise money to (a) recoup my expenses and (b) raise for my next conference infiltration.
Am I happy my work is out there? Sure.
But understand that there will be no future journalism if I can’t raise money because do-nothing influencers stole the content I paid to produce to grift to their audiences.
If you want independent journalists to survive, make sure you’re supporting the work they are doing. Otherwise, no more work will get done.
Here’s what I covered for you this week:
I spent three days undercover at the largest socialist conference in the country:
I got teachers on the record saying they will smuggle fugitive pedagogy into states where teaching critical race theory is banned.
I got the LGBTQ Director at the University of Arizona on the record saying that she’s teaching Marxist-based classes to students on campus:
I gave you alarming footage about how socialists perceive child sex workers:
I discussed my experience at the Socialism Conference on my channel:
I took you inside the conference to give you a taste of the experience:
I ran into Wallace Shawn at the conference, and we learned why he’s a socialist:
For happy hour, we learned what it means to teach the “truthful” history of the United States.
And for Socialism Saturday, we watched another session of the conference where they admitted they defined fascism as capitalism.
