Karlyn, I volunteer to be the devoted but dumbass Gen Xer that sits across from you in a one-on-one podcast that you school in MODERN Marxism.

A good analogy I have been thinking about is someone like James Lindsey (before he lost his mind) is like a Constitutional scholar that explains the foundations of the Constitution.

YOU are like a practicing Constitutional lawyer screaming "Yeah, but that ain't how it works now!"

Excellent brief history on all of this. I enjoyed your summary and yes, it’s a lot. But you contextualized it well. I learned a few things (and still learning…). Thank you for doing the deep dive and sharing.

Here is the BIG question for me: Was this alignment of the supposed "queer" agenda involving LGBTQ (and I realize it is not always the same movement) an organic social process or, in some way, have Marxist activists, classically always trying to get marginalized groups to align against the primary culture, managed to accomplish this?

It was organic because it was all from the same subculture that took roots in New York and San Francisco in the 70s. But their interests ddiverged later.
