I can't imagine the hubris it takes to get confirmation on a daily basis that there is a gender binary every time you go to the bathroom or clean yourself. There are only two types of sets. Male and female. Surely they can't believe that there is no gender binary and it's a "social construct."

Maybe that's a root cause of antisemitism, even though a large number of ethnic Jews are socialists. If they think that's going to save them then they learned nothing from Hitler and Stalin. What the left really wants to get rid of is the Torah and the people who keep it alive. It's the basis for Western civilization, "male and female He created them," "you shall not murder, steal, covet your neighbors [stuff]" etc. "You shall have no other gods before Me" meaning Man isn't God, and they very much want Man as God, and therefore accountable only to themselves with no moral compass than what they decide.

You make a good point, Paula, but you are giving them way too much credit. If you are calm and trying to find the truth, it is not hard...stay calm and let it come. However, if you are trying to AVOID the truth, it is also, not very hard. But for someone who is not rational, it is MUCH, MUCH easier to slip the truth for long periods of time.

First, if your, captain(?), chief(?) whatever they refer to their indoctrinators as, if that person is telling them something is true, they WANT to believe it. That doesn't mean you can believe just anything, but if you are easily triggered emotionally, and you are purposely NOT fact checking them, it's not too hard. I had a friend who voted for Trump, regretted it, then stopped fact-checking anything he said. Then, whenever he would hear about Trump saying or doing something crazy, he would purposely refrain from fact-checking him so he LITERALLY would not know, for sure. So, add the emotional-triggering and the weird relationships and it's not hard to imagine.

FIGHT or FLIGHT response...

Also, you've seen how easily they lose their temper and get emotional, right? Well, your FIGHT or FLIGHT mechanism is triggered by FEAR or ANGER. Once it is, before you even realize you are angry or scared, your frontal-cortex has already taken most of your reasoning ability "offline" so to speak. So, within those moments you could input completely false information, OR, do something that would normally cause you terrible guilt, like punching someone in the face, and not feel guilty about it.

BACKWARDS RATIONALIZATION...

Further, there is a phenomenon called "backwards rationalization," that could happen to anyone, but to occur, it requires an irrationally angry emotional reaction to something they did not like hearing. They know WHAT was said, but they will have a ridiculously twisted version of what it meant. For example, are you familiar with WIll Smith slapping CHris ROck as he hosted the Oscars? Ok, It is hard to make a joke that is actually flattering, but Chris Rock made one about Jada Smith. She was sitting in maybe the most prominent seat in the entire room, obviously well-lighted while she "came out" about alopisha and was sporting a smooth bald dome. If he was going to refer to her, he had to mention her head, but he did it with a flattering joke, something about comparing her to GI Jane. Will Smith started laughing because it was kinda funny. Then, he SAW that Jada wasn't laughing. THen Will walked up and slapped Chris HARD.

CONCLUSION...

There was nothing ambiguous there, right? Well, both of these trans ppl said, Chris Rock was abusive to Jada even though they saw the whole room laugh pleasantly as well as Will Smith. But, since Jada didn't like it, and she is the VICTIM, these two got triggered and said he was abusive.

Keep in mind, there is no conceivable way to turn that into an abusive statement. Also, HE is one of the most famous comedians in the world working one of the biggest nights of the year in show business, and a person in the middle of the room FOR THE FIRST TIME IN PUBLIC, is sporting a bald head. It would have been ok to say a few jokes roasting her.

Ok, now, it is the anger that will throw a person's perception so far off from the truth but consistent with protecting the VICTIM no matter how false and indensible it is.

Here's what I think is the weirdest part of BACKWARDS RATIONALIZATION.

The person ends up arguing a really stupid point kind of wondering how they got their. THEN, they come up with a reason why they INTENDED TO ANSWER THAT WAY. Yes...That is, they did NOT intend to answer that way, but they do not KNOW, at this point, they did not intend to answer that way. Also, ppl HATE the idea of not having control of their own mind. So, their LONG TERM MEMORY will save it as them having come to a rational conclusion, on purpose.

So, both of these triggerable ppl think Rock was abusive and that Will and Jada were rational.
