Why the police who killed Tyre Nichols were driven by racism, even though they're all black.
You must understand this language game the woke left plays.

If you understand nothing else about the woke left and how they are winning the culture war, you must understand this:
Every time they say white supremacy, they do not mean skin color.
They are referencing the SYSTEM that SUPPORTS white supremacy: CAPITALISM.
I’m going to say it again: You WILL NOT understand the woke left or how to beat them until you understand this point. It is something you are going to continue to get hit in the face with over and over and over again, and if you find yourself scratching your head each time it happens, you are doing exactly what they want you to do.
You are allowing them to win when you don’t take the time to understand them.
Allow me to give you an example of how conservatives are playing into the trap set for them by the woke left literally as we speak.
The tragic murder by Tyre Nichols by five black police officers led to this opinion piece appearing on CNN blaming racism:
The victim was black. All five cops that murdered him are black.
The conservative right was instantly distracted by this fact: How could this POSSIBLY be racism? And then they played right into their hands.
Now, what Jesse Kelly is saying in this tweet isn’t incorrect - there never be an end to “everything is racist.”
The problem is that Jesse Kelly and his audience do not understand WHY that is. Because they don’t listen to what the woke left actually says. So, as you can see, I responded with a pretty simple explanation that would fit into 280 characters….and let’s just say it didn’t go well.
Here’s just a few of the dozens of replies I received:
If you correctly identify a problem, but you do not correctly identify WHY the problem exists, then you will never be able to fix the problem because you will be trying to fix the wrong things.
Conservatives and the political right do not understand the monster they are fighting and this is what will doom them to failure.
Regular readers know this. Have you subscribed yet?
I’ve previously discussed this (many times over) in other articles on this substack, so if you’re a regular reader, this should be no surprise. Here are a few pieces you can catch up with if you missed them:
The Communist Manifesto provided the basis for the 1619 Project. Change my mind.
Does the woke left believe the U.S. tax system is a manifestation of systemic racism?
So, how is five black police officers murdering a black man the result of racism?
Three years ago, the woke left changed the dictionary definition of racism to reference systemic racism, rather than an individual holding the bigoted belief that they are better than someone due to skin color.
The new definition holds the system accountable for racism:
When the woke left says white supremacy or racism, they do not mean the color of your skin.
They mean the bourgeoisie, the property owners, the landlords, the capitalists, etc.
They mean the people in the ruling class that are currently upholding the system.
This is why five black police officers can murder a black man and the cause of that murder is racism - because they are the people charged with uploading the system that supports racism. Their skin color makes no difference - they are supporting the system, and the system supports racism and therefore they, themselves, are racist.
Police officers are even considered to be worse than your average government employees because the woke left argues their entire profession is descended from slave traders. They’ve even taught that in public school:
That means that anyone who is a police officer will always be considered racist, and it has nothing to do with their skin color. It has to do with what the woke left argues is the origins of the profession, and because of the system of “white supremacy” (capitalism) it upholds.
Still don’t believe me?
Do me a favor: Go onto Twitter right now and do a search for “whiteness capitalism.”
If you do this, you will be confronted with thousands of examples of the woke left using the terms “whiteness” and “capitalism” in the same breadth, pretty much interchangeably.
To them, these words mean the same thing.
Capitalism is whiteness and whiteness is capitalism.
Here are a few examples:
They’re saying it out loud every day, folks. All you need to do is listen.
The greatest enemy of the woke left is not white people - it’s capitalism.
Understanding this point and the perspective of the woke left is not the same as agreeing with it.
You do not have to agree with them in order to understand why they are doing what they are doing.
And you will never beat them until you understand the why.
They will just continue to confuse you over and over and over again and, while you’re scratching your heads and REEEEEEEing on social media, they will continue to move the needle in their direction.
If I sound frustrated, it’s because I am. What I am explaining is not new information and it should be clear as day to anyone who is paying attention.
I promise you that if you do not wrap your head around this and understand this point, you are going to lose.
And it will be entirely your fault because you did not listen when it was clearly explained to you repeatedly.
The four goals of the woke left are:
Gain as much power as possible
Destabilize the system
Attack capitalism
Usher in their Marxist utopia
Everything they do is to meet one or more of those goals.
You will not beat them until you understand this.
What do you think?

Fight back against the woke and support my work
I believe the woke - on the left and the right - are an existential threat to our values as Americans. Some of them know it, most of them are just useful innocents. Regardless, fighting back against this woke cultural revolution is my full-time job. I’m dedicated to exposing the woke ideology in our country, helping people to understand what’s going on, and providing spaces for non-woke people to connect, support each other, and plan ways to fight back.
Here’s how you can help.
This one is the cement 🤩
Thanks for your hard work
Your response to the Tyre Nichols situation was already running through my mind before I read your Actively Unwoke article. Tim Pool was reacting/REEEEEing (with his regular panel and guest) about the Van Jones op-ed piece, confused about the race of the cops and the “how in the world?” could Jones and leftists possibly accuse black cops of being a byproduct of white supremacy. Tim kinda/sorta gets close to the ideology of the woke left being the driving force of Van Jones’s narrative, but he falls short in the end of saying “capitalism” and really nailing the core belief. Your response to Jesse Kelly is brilliant and so simply put in an effective way, and the way the responses you received back are such a clear and obvious sign that the majority on the right DON’T GET IT. they react with dumbfoundedness and defensive, triggered language without taking a deep breath and listening to the ideology and lens through which these people are truly viewing the world and, specifically, our society. Thank you for your work and for your measured responses, Karlyn. I will continue to support you because of your approach and because of your principles. I wish the time difference (I am a middle school/high school teacher in Hong Kong) didn’t make it so difficult to attend all of your live streams, and I have yet to attend a private Zoom, but I’ll get there. Keep up the good work. I’m learning a great deal from you. Cheers.
