Is it just wishful thinking to think you are too pessimistic about the odds of defeating the radical left? Did not the country elect Trump and Republicans on an essentially anti-Left platform? I think a cultural shift is going on, but whether it will develop critical mass is an open question. New York is a tell, and not a happy one because you’re so such a Democratic socialist and I don’t know if you have pointed that out or if you understand that they are in fact dangerous as a feeder ideology to hard-core leftism as Marxhimself has said.
I have posted several hundred poems taking a position against leftism, but whether they have done any good, I could not you.
I saw what was happening and jumped ship midway through Obama’s sexond term, and I consider myself to be extremely slow. A good portion of my liberal Democrat family are only coming around this year after witnessing the magnitude of the anti Israel antisemitism of the Democrat party and it’s media shills. Finally! I’m telling you, if they can do it, more people can do it and I don’t think saying we should mount a scrappy resistance and lose anyway is a good message.
You’re right about the BS from the right undermining its own cause. It’s lonely in the middle where you know everybody’s lying and the truth is often complex muddled and unsatisfying. That’s exactly where I belong however, independent, centrist, and a free thinker. I don’t know your position on anything yet, but I will check out your videos as a new subscriber.
I'm not a paid subscriber, but i appreciate your pragmatism. He's absolutely already the mayor. What's more important is the "How", the "why", and the "what happens next".
