I'm at a loss for words. lol. It's the definition of revisionist history, isn't it? They're using a new theory, queer theory, and applying it to times when it didn't exist. I will need to sleep on this and get back to you. Sigh...

Forgive me, Dr. B.

I lasted all of 16 seconds and couldn't stand it. Thanks anyway.

STOP THE INSANITY!!!! Marxism is an ideology that doesn't end well for anyone. Stalin murdered millions of people in the name of Marx. Mao murdered countless innocent people as well. North Korea and Venezuela--people are still starving to death, being imprisoned for thinking, and murdered on a regular basis by the Marxist governments.

As for "homosexual" not being a word in the 1860s, um, that's just a bald faced lie.

I have a feeling that this is going the way of the 1619 project in how it's going to be pushed even further, but at this point I shouldn't be surprised.

It looks like they cover more than Abraham Lincoln so hard to say, since I don't have Discovery+, what other history they decided to revise. I'm kinda curious if they cover figures like The Chevalier d’Éon or what they have to say about him...but not curious enough to pay for it.

I vividly recall my initial response upon grasping the concept of queer theory, particularly the notion proposing Abraham Lincoln's homosexuality.

At that moment, my mind failed to process the speaker's account, rendering me unable to register the significance of his discourse or even audibly perceive the words being spoken.

It struck me that ordinary individuals who encounter similar narratives might experience a comparable shutdown, akin to the sensation of being detached from reality.

I needed Gpt chat to help me with this I can not seem to put it in the right words.

I think my brain is still not registering this information sigh!

I understand what you are saying .....

But I still feel detached from this being my truth. or even a truth?

Maybe that is why I am having a hard time processing it.

This is one of the most annoying things about my 'community". I hate that they are going back in history and queering or transing people who we have no proof they were either/or. Leave Abe alone and leave all the badass women that shaped our history alone.

Abraham Lincoln and Leonardo da Vinci were both Christian .. maybe not a Christian like we think of them but their knowledge extended beyond religious boundaries, and they were often regarded as a figure who straddled the realms of faith and reason.

Weather Abraham did what was put in this video .. does that even matter?

Does what or who we have sex with change our brain? and makes us smarter? or dumber?

Why are we celebrating a full month to where we put our private parts ? or what we do with our private parts?

This is Rome all over again and we know what happen there!

Or do we?
